Meet Margaret, a seasoned professional who is passionate about life and thrives on unlocking a client's creativity to achieve their goals. Prior to launching McLean Walsh LLC, Margaret held Chief HR and executive positions in top tier financial services organizations.
Her expertise includes working with start-ups, mergers and acquisitions in investment banking, securities processing, data solutions, advertising and media, technology, and financial services.
Margaret's professional experience includes GroupM, BCG, 1010data, Xerox, Markit N.A., Omgeo LLC; The Depository Trust & Clearing Corp., JPMorgan Chase, Ross Stores, and The Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She's served clients across the US, Australia, England, France, Philippines, Japan, and Singapore.
Margaret received her Executive and Organizational Coaching Certification from Columbia University's Teachers College and Columbia Business School, She is also a certified Career Coach. When client work calls for an assessment, Margaret uses one or more of the following: NBI® thinking preferences, The Hogan Assessments, The Birkman Assessment Suite®, EQ-i 2.0, EQi 360, TESI (Team Emotional and Social Intelligence Survey) and the Team Diagnostic Survey.
Committed to learning and growth, Margaret earned an MA in Communication Arts from IONA College; a BS in Physical Education and Secondary Education from Brooklyn College, CUNY; a Professional Training and Development certificate from NYU, and completed MBA coursework at NYU's Graduate School of Busines.
Margaret is a Core Member of the Columbia Executive Coaching Certification Program Facilitation Team, serves on the Board of International Coach Federation's NYC Chapter, is an ICF Professional Certified Coach, and is a contributor to the Alpha Omega Wisdom project.
